Good evening or shall I say good morning for European friends,

Lovely borealis morning with orange colours at sea. Heading Nome…since Wednesday on sea…winds can be harsh & cold…approaching more & more the Arctic Circle in a few short weeks. We are near St Lawrence island…please view on map if it ’s install by the web team which is doing their best to make you follow live our expedition…hello to Sven & “assistant manager” (just jocking) Jean-Baptiste…a warm support from the North…keep the spirit to put on line the expedition pictures. Exactly we are at 61,44,3N-170,14, 202W - 22h15 local time, the 20th of June - grey..night & darkness are showing up…if not possible to view where we are under the website…go on google earth:-) We should be arriving in Nome in 2 days…let’s wait & see depending on winds & direction. No sea ice yet observed…no whales neither… Good spirit on board…this team of 4 goes well…each 4 hours we change …2 at sleep, 2 navigating… We are thinking often about those which were so helpful to us at the Pribilofs Islands: Vera, Sean, Karen, Marianne, March, Aquilina, Ryan…super ths. Low of battery, kisss to all - enjoy the longest day of the year folks - patrick
