Les vents de NW ont molli durant la nuit, il y a dix noeuds seulement maintenant. La glace a du se tasser dans Dolphin (a l’E du golfe d’Amundsen), il y avait un avis de compression de glace hier dans cette zone. Nous irons a Paulatuk aujourd’hui ou peut etre un peu plus dans l’E, cela dependra des infos envoyees par Patrick (il nous les transmet sur notre iridium). Nous avons recu un e mail de Silent Sound, ils doivent etre a Sach Harbour. Nous avons eu un contact VHF avec Ocean Watch mais la propagation n’etait pas bonne. A+ Thierry
The NW wind has decreased during the night, 10 knots only now. The ice must be squeezed in Dolphin (E of Amundsen Gulf), there was one ice compression advice yesterday over there. We’ll go to Paulatuk today or a little bit more in the E, it will depend of ice news from Patrick (he send us ice news on our iridium). We received an e mail from Silent Sound, they must be at Sach Harbour. We had VHF contact with Ocean Watch but the propagation was very bad. Bye Thierry
